This handwoven Afghan kilim rug measures approximately 77 × 120 cm including fringes and is crafted entirely from high-quality wool for both the weft and warp. The design features a central rectangular medallion framed by multiple symmetrical borders and repeating hexagonal and diamond motifs, typical of the region’s nomadic tradition. Dominant tones are warm, earthy terracotta brown, complemented by muted ochre yellow, deep blue, and ivory highlights. The flat and tight weave has a matte surface with a distinct wool texture, and the edges are finished with braided fringes in a matching brown shade.
