This set of six dessert plates from the 'dew drops' (asteroid) series, designed by Jan Drost for HSG Ząbkowice in Poland during the 1970s, exemplifies the precise, modernist glass design emerging from the era of socialist modernism. Made of clear, colorless glass with a cool, transparent tone, the plates feature a simple, shallow, circular form with gently rounded edges.
