The Falcon lamp, designed by Andreas Hansen in 1969 for the Danish manufacturer Fog & Mørup, exemplifies the precise lines and restraint of mid-century modern functionalism. Its construction is based on three distinctive lacquered steel modules: a cylindrical top, a wide, flat central disc, and cascading, graduated cylindrical and conical elements beneath. It remains distant from superfluous decoration, instead allowing a disciplined modern
