This liqueur set, produced by the Hortensja Glassworks in Piotrków Trybunalski in the 1930s, is a quintessential example of Art Deco design in both material and form. The set comprises a decanter with stopper (height 22.5 cm, diameter 10.5 cm) and six matching glasses (height 5.3 cm, diameter 4.5 cm). Crafted from two types of glass—a delicate, warm pink with subtle translucency, and a deep, glossy black used for the decanter’s base and stopper as well as the stems and bases of the glasses—the set achieves a striking color contrast. The glass surfaces are smooth and highly polished, without visible patterns or texture. The design is defined by bold, rounded forms: the spherical decanter body and globular stems of the glasses are hallmarks of the streamlined, geometric Art Deco aesthetic.
