This liqueur set for six, crafted circa 1920 by the esteemed German manufacturer Metallwaren-Fabrik Arthur Krupp of Berndorf, exemplifies refined Art Deco craftsmanship. The 23 cm-high decanter is made from faceted crystal glass, its clarity and geometric planes embodying the modernist spirit of the era. The silvery metal elements—including the decanter’s handle and lid as well as the tall, slender stems of the six goblets—are formed from a white metal alloy, silver-plated for a lustrous, mirror-like finish. The vessels feature restrained forms, marked by pronounced vertical lines, while the circular bases of the goblets are adorned with subtle spherical accents. The factory signature, a bear motif, confirms the authenticity of origin. The set remains in very good condition, showing minor patina and faint, age-appropriate surface marks.
