This Art Deco liqueur set by Vogel & Zappe, produced in Bohemia (northern Czech Republic) in the late 1920s and 1930s, is a testament to the refined glassmaking of the interwar period. The ensemble consists of a sculptural decanter shaped as a crinoline-clad lady, topped with a tall, elaborate coiffure stopper, and six matching glasses that echo the decanter’s figurative motifs. Crafted from satin-finished, frosted white glass with a subtle milky translucence, the surfaces are smooth and velvety to the touch, diffusing light in a gentle, atmospheric manner.
