ABOUT PRODUCTID 38714
This reclining lounge chair from the 1960s/70s is a quintessential example of Bauhaus-inspired modernism, where functionality and purity of form guide every design decision. The chair features a tubular, highly polished chrome frame, its continuous, flowing lines integrating both armrests and legs in a single, architectural sweep that highlights the industrial character of the piece. The upholstery is made entirely of natural leather in a deep, cool black with a subtle satin sheen, accentuated by horizontal quilting that brings refined texture and visual rhythm to the seat and backrest. The reclining mechanism is controlled by a side lever, and the chair is complemented by a detachable headrest. The backrest angle can be adjusted for enhanced comfort. Overall width is 62 cm, seat surface measures 55x50 cm, seat height is 45 cm, and backrest height is 72 cm. The condition is very good, with only minor signs of use visible on the seat and light soiling on the headrest, consistent with careful vintage use. This chair echoes the era when design and engineering walked hand in hand.
