The construction relies on solid meranti wood, sculpted into robust, gently curved legs with a matte finish that highlights the wood’s natural grain. The seat and backrest are crafted from thick, natural leather, hand-tooled with intricate geometric patterns inspired by pre-Columbian art, lending both visual depth and cultural reference. A folding mechanism enhances practicality, while the low, wide proportions and slightly reclined back emphasize its lounge function. The absence of armrests and a horizontal stretcher beneath the seat underscores its minimalist, functional construction.
