ABOUT PRODUCTID 29150
The T 2403 loveseat, designed by Viliam Chlebo and produced by Kodreta Myjava in 1980s Czechoslovakia, is built upon a sculptural, tubular chromed steel frame polished to a mirror finish. The original removable cushions are upholstered in black leatherette with a subtle satin sheen, creating a sophisticated visual contrast. Both seat and backrest feature vertical channeled stitching, producing a rhythmic, sculptural effect, while padded armrests—also in black leatherette—terminate in distinct angular drops, adding a dynamic accent. The slightly splayed legs are capped with black plastic feet for floor protection. The piece retains its original manufacturer’s label. Condition: excellent, with upholstery and chrome free from visible damage; professionally cleaned and ready for use. This loveseat embodies the late modernist and early postmodern spirit of Central Europe in the 1980s—a period when industrial materials and bold geometry defined the language of contemporary design. The chrome frame catches the light, giving the piece a striking architectural presence, while the deep black upholstery introduces a note of restrained elegance. The interplay of vertical channels and softly contoured yet assertive shapes reflects an era that valued both comfort and distinctive form.
