This magazine rack from the 1960s, crafted entirely from solid brass, combines classic Art Deco motifs with the practical functionalism of mid-century modernism. The slender construction rests on rectangular feet, slightly elevating the piece above the surface and bringing clarity and lightness to its form. The main panel is adorned with two stylised, raised floral motifs, which soften the geometric structure of the body. The characteristic semi-circular arch handle with an oval cutout offers an easy grip for carrying. The maker's mark is visible underneath. Condition: very good – no major defects, only minor marks and traces of age. This shape recalls the story of post-war Germany's golden years, a period when collectors valued a balance between material integrity and sensual grace. On its surface, the narrative of handcraftsmanship meets the demands of daily
