This glass vase designed by Jerzy Słuczan-Orkusz in the 1970s for the Krakow Glass Institute exemplifies the use of two-layered glassmaking techniques, with a softly translucent yellow core emerging through a semi-opaque, milky white exterior. The silhouette is rooted in mid-century modern traditions—gently rounded shoulders, a body that tapers subtly towards the base, and a gently flared neck. Decorative features include six raised, circular glass medallions with stylized floral patterns arranged in two horizontal tiers around the vessel. The surface is smooth and glossy, effectively reflecting light; the yellow hue remains pastel and gentle, while the white layer appears semi-matte and diffused.
