This milk jug from the 'London' line, designed by Wincenty Potacki for the Ćmielów Porcelain Factory in 1962, is a distinctive example of Polish 1960s modernism. Crafted from smooth porcelain, it features a cylindrical, geometric silhouette with a pronounced spout and an ergonomically shaped handle. The surface is adorned with a rhythmic, fan-like pattern of white 'ribbons' on a glossy black background, characteristic of the 'London' series, and accentuated by hand-painted, overglaze gold detailing.
