ABOUT PRODUCTID 19269
This mocha cup and saucer set embodies the late Biedermeier style with traces of early 20th-century eclecticism; crafted between 1875 and 1935, it is made from high-quality white porcelain finished with a glossy glaze. Broad carmine-red bands with a cool undertone mark the rims of both the cup (height 7 cm, diameter 6.2 cm, length with handle 9 cm) and saucer (diameter 15.6 cm), lending a striking visual rhythm. Both pieces feature hand-painted, naturalistic floral garlands—yellow, pink, red, and blue flowers with green leaves—forming a continuous, decorative motif. The rims and profiled handle are accentuated by precise gilding: subtle, raised details and fine linear borders. The proportions follow a classic design, with a barrel-shaped body and a wide, gently sloping saucer. The set is preserved in very good condition, with no chips or cracks; only minimal rubbing to the gilding attests to the authenticity and gentle past use. This set quietly recalls the restrained yet decorative spirit of European parlors at the turn of the 20th century. The porcelain's subtle shine catches light like a piece of table jewelry—its carmine bands and gold lines merge with the floral ornamentation
