Designed by Jerzy Słuczan-Orkusz for the Polish Institute of Glass in the 1970s, this hand-formed pitcher is made from softly matte glass in a saturated cool green shade—reminiscent of emerald or lush grass, and sometimes described as turquoise. The silhouette is minimalist: a weighted, rounded base flows seamlessly into a slender neck with a gently flared spout. The handle is a singular, elegantly arched loop, attached with precisely crafted joints that reflect artisanal glasswork of the era. The satin-matte finish diffuses light across the surface, lending a gentle, distinctly modernist character. There are no decorative motifs or color variations—the overall effect is one of unity, relying on the purity of form and proportion.
