These modernist wall sconces from 1980s Poland capture the distinctive spirit of late Eastern European modernism. Their construction centers around a vertically oriented, rectangular lacquered wood backplate, layered with both lacquered and brass-anodized aluminum elements. The focal point is a satin brass-colored aluminum accent, arranged as a dynamic, spiral band that wraps around the fixture's central section, providing a striking counterpoint to the deep, matte black base. The overall design is geometric and sculptural, emphasizing the interplay of contrasting materials—smooth, refined black surfaces juxtaposed with the subtle sheen of metallic detail. Visible screws and mounting points subtly reinforce the piece's industrial character. The sconces accept E27 bulbs up to 60W, and the electrical wiring has been replaced and is fully functional. Each sconce measures 38 cm in height, 12 cm in width, and 14 cm in depth.
