ABOUT PRODUCTID 34816
This modular shelving unit, designed by John Texmon and Einar Blindheim for Norwegian manufacturer Blindheim Mobelfabrikk, is a classic example of Scandinavian mid-century modernism from the 1960s. Crafted in teak veneer with a warm, semi-matte brown finish and subtle reddish undertones, the shelving system highlights the natural grain and texture of the wood. The composition includes two lower cabinets with sliding doors and round recessed handles, three open shelves, and an upper cabinet with sliding glass doors featuring rounded corners. Tapered, slightly splayed legs and discreet brass shelf supports add a signature Scandinavian touch to the design. Adjustable shelving holes allow for customized configurations. The overall proportions are harmonious, with the unit offering substantial storage while retaining a visually light, airy character. Condition is very good: the surface has been refreshed
