This Italian modular sofa from the 1960s comprises four individual sections, each upholstered in deep black natural leather. The surface displays a muted, semi-matte sheen that accentuates the authentic grain, natural creasing, and age patina distinctive to vintage leather. Every module features an especially broad, deep seat and a high, generously padded backrest, allowing each to function as a stand-alone armchair or as part of a unified sofa arrangement. The design, grounded in mid-century modern principles, is defined by its low, wide proportions and softly rounded contours that offset the strict linear geometry. Deep horizontal tufting on the cushions and a leather 'skirt' along the lower edge reinforce the quality of craftsmanship, complemented by subtle piping around the edges.
