Designed by Rino Maturi for Mimo Padova in the 1970s, this modular sofa is a statement of Italian mid-century modern style. Composed of three generously sized, softly contoured modules—two straight sections and one rounded corner—the sofa forms a sculptural whole with organic, flowing lines and no sharp angles. It is fully upholstered in plush, deep golden ochre velvet, with a rich satin sheen that shifts subtly depending on light and angle, creating an ever-changing play of color and depth. Both seat and backrest feature deep geometric button tufting, forming a diamond-floral pattern with buttons covered in matching velvet.
