ABOUT PRODUCTID 35113
This postmodern modular table, designed by T. Richardson, C. Brill, and A. Williams for Ikea in Sweden (2014), is a distinctive example of contemporary design drawing on Memphis and minimalist influences. The structure consists of four cylindrical modules: three serve as storage compartments with semi-circular cut-out handles, and the fourth forms the tabletop, closing the whole. The table stands on a light-toned metal base with four slender legs, providing both stability and a visually airy presence. Its clean geometry, rounded forms, and modular functionality embody the characteristic language of early 21st-century Scandinavian postmodernism. Condition: good to very good, with minor patina and slight discoloration visible on close inspection; no mechanical damage and all parts remain original.
This piece tells the story of a decade when design engaged in a dialogue between function and bold form. The softly rounded
