ABOUT PRODUCTID 1769
This French chandelier, dating from around 1880, exemplifies the decorative lighting traditions of late 19th-century neoclassicism and Neo-Baroque. The structure is crafted from fire-gilded brass, shaped into ornate castings—distinctive garlands, rosettes, and leaf motifs are clearly visible, all in a warm gold hue. The main dome is composed of clear, hand-cut crystal beads, graduated in size toward the base to create the classic 'pear' silhouette. The lower rim is finished with elongated, faceted crystal drops that visually extend the chandelier’s verticality and add subtle movement. Gilded suspension chains, adorned with small crystal accents, complete the composition. The chandelier offers one E27 bulb socket, and the electrical installation has been updated for modern safety. The overall condition is excellent—no visible damage, all elements present, and only a gentle, age-appropriate pat
