The Swopper active office chair by AERIS exemplifies late 20th-century German design, originally created by Josef Glöckl. Its construction centers on a round, black seat upholstered in soft TEMPUR velour, which gently molds to the body's contours. A distinctive, exposed gunmetal spring allows the seat to move forward, backward, sideways, and up and down, encouraging active sitting. Stability is provided by a robust metallic base with five black casters, one of which features a red locking mechanism.
