This openwork fruit basket, produced in 1907 by the Norblin manufactory in Warsaw, is a fine example of early 20th-century Polish tableware, distinguished by clear Art Nouveau influences. Made from silver-plated brass with a cool, silvery-white, matte-to-satin finish, the basket features an oval body formed by an intricate mesh of twisted and curved wires. The rim is adorned with raised floral and leaf motifs, echoing the decorative spirit of the era. Its movable handle, crafted from twisted metal, is symmetrically attached at two points, providing both durability and visual lightness. The solid base is decorated with a precise, concentric engraved pattern, contrasting with the filigree sides.
