Designed by Pavel Hlava for the Egermann glassworks in Nový Bor, this 1960s organizer exemplifies Czech modernist glassmaking where craftsmanship meets experimentation. The precisely cut cube (8.5 × 8.8 × 9 cm) is crafted from heavy crystal glass. Its exterior displays a deep amethyst purple, the interior is saturated with vivid cobalt blue, and the base transitions into a warm amber gradient. Abstract geometric silver foil inclusions are embedded within the glass, creating dynamic patterns across the sides. The highly polished, glossy surface and sharply defined, meticulously finished edges highlight the precision of the work. The object is signed on the underside and remains in very good condition, with no visible signs of use and its original packaging.This organizer tells the story of 1960s Czech avant-garde, when glass became a field of exploration for color, light, and material.
