This handwoven Oushak rug from the 1970s, produced in Turkey, is crafted from natural wool on a cotton foundation. Its composition is built on cool, muted grey-beige tones, interlaced with pastel stripes of blue, lavender, taupe, and sage. Across the surface, irregularly placed medallions, rosettes, and geometric motifs appear in delicate shades of blush pink, yellow, orange, light green, coral, as well as occasional touches of deep red and navy. The border is narrow and understated, adorned with minimalist geometric pastel accents. The pile is matte and slightly grainy to the touch, with clearly visible weft and warp lines that highlight the artisanal quality of the weave. With proportions of 429 × 319 cm, the rug offers a substantial yet visually light centerpiece. The edges are straight and intact, and the pile remains even throughout.
