This oval, extendable dining table was produced by the British manufacturer G-Plan in the 1960s and stands as an example of Mid-Century Modern design with Scandinavian influences. Crafted entirely from teak wood in a warm, medium-brown shade with subtle reddish undertones, the table features a satin-matte finish that highlights the decorative, symmetrical wood grain of the veneer. The tabletop displays darker streaks, while the softly rounded and slightly beveled edges lend a sense of refinement and softness. Four slender, outwardly splayed legs enhance the table’s visual lightness, and the apron follows the oval contour, maintaining a cohesive silhouette.
