This mahogany table from Western Europe, dating to circa 1920, exemplifies early 20th-century craftsmanship in the spirit of late Art Nouveau and early Art Deco. The oval tabletop, finished in a deep reddish-brown mahogany with a medium gloss, highlights the wood’s natural grain. A subtle seam across the top reveals its extendable function—when opened, the length increases from 132 to 145 cm. The edges are gently scalloped, while the apron is adorned with hand-carved floral and foliate motifs, particularly prominent at the center and corners. The table stands on four refined cabriole legs, each ending in small brass castors, emphasizing both period-appropriate mobility and authentic historical detail
