This pair of marble table lamps from Kámen Praha, dating to the 1930s, reflects the artisanal tradition of interwar Czechoslovakia. Each lamp features a substantial round marble base and a geometric cuboid column housing the bulb fitting. The polished marble bodies, presented in a wheat-beige tone, display natural veins in gold and tan, offering both graphic structure and subtle color variation—a direct nod to the architectural symmetry of Art Deco. Decoration is intentionally restrained, relying on clean lines and a satin-gloss surface that highlights the inherent character of the stone. Modern, oversized Edison-style filament bulbs crown each lamp, with discreet white cylindrical push switches integrated into the marble bases.
