This pair of vases, crafted at the Kralik glassworks in Bohemia and dating from 1920–1930, exemplifies the Art Nouveau tradition in early 20th-century Czech glassmaking. Each vase is made from opalescent glass in a cool, milky white tone, with a pearly iridescence lending a luminous effect to the surface. The lower section is adorned with a lively mosaic of colored glass spots in blue, green, red, yellow, and purple, set against the opalescent background. The gently ruffled, flared rims and bulbous bases taper smoothly towards slender necks, reflecting the organic, flowing lines typical of Art Nouveau.
