This pair of veneered bedside cabinets, originating from Germany in the 1960s, exemplifies the balanced intersection of functionality and aesthetics characteristic of the mid-century modern era. Each cabinet is crafted from light honey-brown wood veneer with a semi-matte finish, showcasing the natural grain. The forms feature gently rounded edges and harmonious proportions: 45 cm high, 58 cm wide, and 35 cm deep. The tops are protected by newly custom-cut glass panels with a subtle greenish tint, adding a soft gloss and practical durability. Each cabinet is equipped with a single drawer featuring a slim, slightly curved metal handle in satin silver, as well as a lower cupboard door with a matching vertical handle. The solid base with its distinctive arched cut-out imparts a sense of lightness. The construction is stable and sturdy, with only minor signs of use and some localized veneer abrasions along the edges. Condition is very good—new glass tops and ready for daily use. The listed price applies to the set of two cabinets.These cabinets speak with the voice of 1960s German modernism: simplicity of form meets a deliberate attention to detail.
