ABOUT PRODUCTID 35465
This pair of ceramic cachepots by Scheurich, crafted in Germany in the 1960s, exemplifies classic mid-century modern design. Each cachepot features a gently conical, cylindrical form with straight sides and a flat base. The exterior is adorned with a bold, horizontal striped pattern: a warm, medium brown with a glossy finish is contrasted by a wide, deep black band encircling the center. Below the black band, speckled white and brown stripes create a tactile, almost sandy texture, while the upper section transitions into a lighter, golden ochre gradient. Both the interior and exterior are fully glazed, enhancing the vibrancy and depth of the colors. Made from sturdy stoneware, these pieces reflect the material quality typical of German utilitarian ceramics from the era. Each cachepot is signed. Both are in very good vintage condition, with no damage or chips—only a subtle patina consistent with age. The listed price is for the set of two. These cachepots evoke an era when everyday objects were elevated through design. The 1960s in Germany
