This pair of German ceiling lamps from the 1980s exemplifies late modernist design with a clear inclination towards industrial aesthetics. The bodies are crafted from smooth, matte aluminum in an elongated cylindrical form (widths of 66 and 68 cm, 8 cm in diameter). A ribbed, transparent acrylic diffuser runs the full length of each lamp, ensuring even distribution of the 18W fluorescent light source. One lamp features white end caps, the other dark graphite, both complemented by glossy black cable covers and a distinctive spiral coiled cable. The proportions are slender and linear, remaining true to the functionalist approach typical of German design from that era.
