This pair of vintage Musterring chairs from Germany, dating to the 1960s/70s, features a solid wood construction in a warm, honey-toned finish with a semi-matte sheen. Each chair is defined by a backrest with five slender, vertical spindles and a gently curved horizontal top rail, giving the silhouette an airy, light character reminiscent of Scandinavian modernist influences from the era. The legs are round, slightly tapered, and subtly splayed outward, underscoring both the stability and the balanced proportions typical of mid-century modern design. The generously padded seats are upholstered in a fabric with a light beige and grey base, accented by horizontal stripes in muted blue, grey, and off-white; the woven texture adds to the natural appeal.
