This pair of chairs from the 1960s features a lightweight wooden frame in a warm, medium-dark reddish-brown tone with a semi-matte finish. The slender construction is accentuated by decorative turned details on the top rail of the backrest, reflecting subtle classic European design influences. Both the seat and backrest are crafted from natural rattan cane, woven in a traditional openwork pattern, whose light honey hue complements the darker wood frame. The chairs embody the minimalist, functional approach of mid-century modern design—simple, geometric lines, gently tapered legs, and cross-bracing for stability. Visible metal fasteners at the joints highlight the artisanal assembly. The openwork weaving ensures both comfort and breathability.
