This pair of French candelabra from the late 19th century is crafted from finely cast and chiseled bronze. Each piece stands on a broad, ornate base adorned with openwork scrolls and acanthus leaf motifs, which flow seamlessly into a slender, sculpted stem topped with a decorative finial. The three candle arms are elegantly curved, decorated with expressive mascaron heads and intricate foliage, clearly referencing the Rococo Revival style with late Baroque influences. The warm, golden-bronze surface displays a natural patina, balancing glossy highlights with matte accents to emphasize the depth of the reliefs. The construction reveals a high standard of craftsmanship—elements are joined with threaded and hammered connections, and the original removable bobeches (candle sockets) are present. The overall condition is very good, with only minor signs of age and a historical patina, no visible damage or repairs. The price refers to the complete set of two candelabra.
