This set of two crystal decanters from the early 20th century exemplifies the craftsmanship of European glassworks of the era. Made from clear, colorless lead crystal with a cool, slightly bluish undertone, they display harmonious, classical forms and well-balanced proportions. The lower sections feature a dense diamond-cut pattern that transitions smoothly into vertical, beaded cuts, creating a striking interplay of light and texture. The gently tapering bodies ensure stability, while each decanter is topped with a spherical stopper adorned with multiple flat facets, providing a geometric counterpoint to the rounded forms. The necks and stopper bases are frosted at the points of contact for a secure seal and a subtle visual accent. The material is smooth to the touch except for the textured, cut areas, which offer a firm grip.
