This pair of French mantel garnitures from the late 19th century (circa 1880–1900) embodies the neoclassical form of amphorae, characteristic of the period’s refined taste. The surface is matte with a slight satin sheen, showing gentle patina and minor wear consistent with age. The amphorae are set on fluted classical pedestals, resting on square marble bases in a light beige tone with warm, reddish-brown veining.
