This pair of French bedside tables from around 1920 exemplifies the late Louis XV revival style. Crafted from wood in a warm, medium brown with a reddish undertone, the bodies feature chevron-patterned marquetry on the drawer fronts and sides. The glossy finish accentuates the depth of the wood grain, while each piece is topped with polished marble in shades of cream, beige, and light pink, highlighted by natural veining. Each table stands on slender, cabriole legs and offers two drawers adorned with ornate, rococo-style brass handles and escutcheons. Brass mounts with an aged patina decorate the corners and feet, adding a refined touch.
