This pair of salt cellars, crafted by the Fraget manufactory in Warsaw in the 1930s, exemplifies the artistry of interwar Polish silversmithing. Each rounded bowl is made of brass, silver-plated to a cool, gently matte finish. The interiors of both the cellars and the accompanying spoons are richly gilded, resulting in a warm, mirror-like golden sheen. Supported by three cabriole legs ending in stylized paw feet—a feature inspired by neoclassical revival design from the turn of the 20th century—the form is further refined by a delicate beaded border along the upper rim. The smooth surface displays a natural patina and minor signs of age, yet there are no visible damages or restoration traces. Soldered joints at the legs highlight solid construction.
