ABOUT PRODUCTID 33729
This pair of swivel armchairs from the 1970s, produced by Norwegian manufacturer Soda Galvano, is a striking example of Scandinavian modernism at the turn of the decade. Each armchair is upholstered in genuine leather in a deep, muted black shade with a matte finish and visible natural creases and patina, typical of leather that has matured over decades. The structure is defined by a wide, cocooning seat with integrated armrests, while the generously padded seat and backrest feature distinctive vertical and curved stitching that accentuates the soft, organic shape. The entire chair rests on a tulip-style base covered in dark brown suede or faux suede, finished at the bottom with a contrasting light yellow ring made of wood or laminate, visually separating the chair from the floor. The bases show minor scuffs and discoloration consistent with age and use, while the construction remains stable and free of any major damage or repairs. The listed price includes the complete set of two armchairs. Preserved in good condition,
