This pair of large table lamps from 1960s Germany exemplifies a dialogue between the clarity of Art Deco and the gentle geometry of mid-century modernism. Each lamp features a substantial, ribbed glass base with a partially frosted, partially clear finish, creating a subtle interplay of matte and glossy textures. The bases are heavy and rounded, set on a decorative, textured foot, and capped with a warm brass collar that displays a characteristic vintage patina. The fabric lampshades, in a warm off-white or cream hue, have a gently conical, classic silhouette; visible discolorations and stains speak to decades of use.
