This pair of table lamps from the 1980s features large, conical shades in deep matte burgundy with mirrored gold interiors. The smooth, even texture of the lampshades is complemented by openwork, geometric bases crafted from black lacquered aluminum. The glossy finish of the base contrasts with the matte shades, creating a sculptural silhouette defined by undulating lines. Each lamp stands 84 cm high, with a lampshade diameter of 58 cm. Black cords with inline switches and a standard E27 socket allow for both traditional and LED bulbs.The design balances the strict geometry of Art Deco with the playful freedom of postmodern 1980s aesthetics. The mirrored gold interior reflects light softly, creating an intimate, enveloping glow.
