This pair of table lamps, created around 1900 in the former Austro-Hungarian Empire, exemplifies refined craftsmanship and the decorative elegance of the turn of the 20th century. The lamps rest on rectangular, gilded brass bases with beveled edges and delicate beaded detailing, echoing the Art Nouveau style. The lampshades are crafted from cut crystal glass, shaped into stylized flower petals and adorned with intricate, lace-like embossing that gives them a soft, tactile quality. Brass sockets and ceramic rings complement the design, while twisted, gold-toned fabric cords harmonize with the palette and spirit of the era. The lamps are fitted for E27 bulbs. The listed price is for the pair. Condition is very good—no visible damage, and the electrical wiring has been replaced.These lamps evoke a world where light and ornament were of equal importance to function.
