This pair of Bitossi table lamps from the 1960s embodies the classic Italian craftsmanship and the spirit of mid-century modern design. The bases are crafted from matte, dark brown ceramic with a visibly textured, slightly rough surface, lending them an organic and authentic character. Glossy, gold-glazed ceramic accents at the neck and foot create a distinct contrast against the matte body – the gold detailing has a subtly irregular, hand-applied quality characteristic of artisanal production. Each lamp is topped with a contemporary, slightly conical lampshade in a warm white fabric with a delicate weave, adding lightness and providing soft, diffused illumination.
