ABOUT PRODUCTID 29565
This pair of table lamps designed by Helena Tynell for Limburg was created in Germany during the 1960s and embodies the essence of mid-century modern style. Each lamp features a hand-blown bubble glass globe in a light amber, champagne shade, with a glossy, almost wet-look finish and a pronounced bubble texture that animates the surface with dynamic reflections. The molded plastic bases come in a cool, muted gray-blue with a soft satin sheen, flaring outward in a trumpet-like silhouette that provides both stability and a distinctly modernist profile. Brass-toned rings accentuate the transition between base and glass, introducing an elegant contrast and underscoring the refined craftsmanship. Each lamp is equipped with a cord and inline switch, requiring an E14 bulb. The lamps are preserved in excellent vintage condition: the glass is free of chips or cracks, the bases have been freshly refinished, and the cords and switches are clean and fully functional, with no signs of heavy wear.
