ABOUT PRODUCTID 38308
This pair of table lamps from 1950s Czechoslovakia exemplifies the timeless clarity of mid-century modern design. Each lamp features a rounded shade crafted from soda glass with a cool, matte, pebbled texture in off-white, softly diffusing the light. The top of the shade and the cylindrical base are made of nickel-plated brass, offering a restrained interplay between glossy and matte surfaces. The proportions highlight clean lines and geometric balance, hallmarks of Central European modernism from the mid-20th century. The metal elements retain a bright, silvery sheen, with only minimal, age-appropriate patina. The lamps are equipped with E27 sockets and white cords with inline switches. Each lamp stands 20 cm high with a diameter of 20 cm. The listed price is for the complete pair of lamps. These lamps evoke the calm restraint of the 1950s, a time when Czech craftsmanship
