This pair of table lamps designed by Giotto Stoppino for Valenti in the 1980s exemplifies the bold spirit of Italian modernism at the turn of the decade. The design features a large, dome-shaped lampshade in cool, glossy white plastic with a highly reflective, almost mirror-like surface, set on an elegantly curved arm of brushed chromed metal. The base is a substantial, flat disc, ensuring stability and harmonious proportions.
