ABOUT PRODUCTID 33465
This pair of decorative vases from the Colonnata manufactory in Sesto Fiorentino, Italy, dates to the 1950s. Each vase features a cylindrical form—one with a gently flared, conical base and the other with a straight profile. The dominant color is a deep, matte black with a subtle satin sheen, providing an elegant backdrop for a broad horizontal band of decalcomania. The bands depict idyllic landscape scenes with figures, animals, trees, and a river, rendered in naturalistic shades of green, blue, brown, and red. These landscape decorations are framed by thin, hand-applied gold lines that also accent the top and bottom rims of each vase. The gold accents are slightly worn in places, consistent with age. The surface of the ceramics is smooth and even, without visible cracks or chips; only minor signs of use and a gentle patina are present. Both vases are signed on the base, confirming their authenticity. Dimensions: 25 and 20 cm tall, 8.5 and 8 cm in diameter. The listed price is for the set of two vases. Condition: very good—minor wear to the gilding and signs of age, but no
