This extra large pair of vintage wall lamps, designed by Wilhelm Wagenfeld for Peill & Putzler in the 1950s, represents the rare 2685 'Magna' model in the spirit of mid-century modern and Bauhaus. Each lamp features a tall, cylindrical opaline glass shade with a gently rounded top and subtle taper towards the base, highlighting a minimalist, geometric aesthetic. The satin, milky-white glass has a matte texture, diffusing light into a soft, even glow without any visible patterns or decorative details. The proportions – 37 cm high, 16 cm wide, 11 cm deep – give these lamps a monumental yet balanced presence. The metal base, concealed behind the glass, ensures an unobtrusive wall mount, free from visible hardware. The lamps are preserved in very good vintage condition, with only minimal signs of age-appropriate wear and no chips or discoloration.
