This pair of large wall sconces, designed in the 1950s by André Arbus & Veronese, stands out with its striking feather motif crafted from thick, high-quality crystal glass. The transparent, subtly frosted glass is shaped into elongated, ribbed feathers, mounted on polished brass holders with a glossy finish. The glass features a pronounced, textured pattern that faithfully echoes the organic lines of a feather, lending depth and dynamic light effects. The sculptural silhouette (75 cm tall) is both slender and commanding, while details such as coiled brass wire at the base and visible screws highlight the artisanal craftsmanship and robust construction. The glass diffuses light into a warm, golden glow, and the interplay between its matte surface and the brass’s lustrous sheen creates a visually engaging contrast.
