This pair of wall lights by Fischer Leuchten from the 1960s exemplifies German mid-century modern design, where form and function are combined in a precisely crafted whole. The structure consists of rectangular backplates made of matte-satin brass in a warm golden tone, providing a solid base for thick, hand-formed 'iced' glass shades. The shades feature a semi-matte, heavily textured surface with an organic, swirling relief, allowing light to diffuse softly and creating a subtle play of shadows.
